I recently had a romantic escape at the ultra-modern Print Works Apartments in Liverpool, and while the location is undeniably great-just 10 minutes from Tate Liverpool and the Albert Dock-it didn't quite live up to expectations. The apartments are spacious with handy features like free Wi-Fi and a comfy lounge area, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the city. I was disappointed with a few things. We found the cleanliness to be lacking, which is vital for both romantic getaways and family trips-especially if you're travelling with children. The lingering stale smoke smell was particularly off-putting. And while there is secure parking available on a first-come, first-served basis, it's frustrating when these small details can overshadow the amenities offered. For groups heading to celebrate, it might suit them better!
