I recently had a romantic escape at the ultra-modern Print Works Apartments in Liverpool, and while the location is undeniably great—just 10 minutes from Tate Liverpool and the Albert Dock—it didn’t quite live up to expectations. The apartments are spacious with handy features like free Wi-Fi and a comfy lounge area, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the city. I was disappointed with a few things. We found the cleanliness to be lacking, which is vital for both romantic getaways and family trips—especially if you're travelling with children. The lingering stale smoke smell was particularly off-putting. And while there is secure parking available on a first-come, first-served basis, it's frustrating when these small details can overshadow the amenities offered. For groups heading to celebrate, it might suit them better!
